"VERTA" launched the "Manufacture"


The place of the competition was one of the largest manufacturers of faucets in Russia called factory "VERTA", which is belonged to the group of companies "URALKRAN."
Coordinator of the NGO "The Young Guard of United Russia" in the UFD Damir Utarbekov: «The event «Manufactory» is federal, and soon it will be implemented in many cities across the country. Its main objective is  to establish contact between the future workers and potential employers and to provide an opportunity for students to plunge into the workflow, listen to the experts and learn some new things. The competition has shown that the guys have  much room to grow, and they are really interested in it.»

The first students who competed in "Manufactory", were students of Chelyabinsk multi-disciplinary college and Chelyabinsk Mechanics and Technology College. The program involved the safety instructions, the theoretical knowledge of the competition for the technology of welding and lathe production, skills competition between future graduates and qualified specialists, an excursion of the factory and experts` master-class. Participants welded seam on the speed and made the details on the proposed drafts. The jury selected three students who showed the best results. They are Alexander Vetoshkin, Dmitry Plaksin and Ryan Zagitov (Chelyabinsk multi-disciplinary college). The factory`s administration has already shown a willingness to invite some of the guys on work. All participants received certificates, t-shirts "The Young Guard", and souvenirs from the company.

"The event has quite good prospects, - says the director of the production factory " VERTA ", Denis Balabanov. - We all know that industrial professions are popular now, so the specialisrts` age level is quite high. Due to these competitions we can identify right young people, who  will replace existing staff. According to the students’ views, it is clear that they liked modern manufacturing, and I think that soon we will see some of them on the factory.”
